Jennifer Lopez splits from Marc Anthony

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have split after seven years of marriage.

The couple—who have three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, together—have decided to call time on their relationship after they both agreed on the "difficult decision."

In a statement released toPeople magazine, Jennifer and Marc—who wed in June 2004—said: "We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.

"It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Jennifer—who has been married twice before—recently spoke of her contentment in her personal life as wife and mother.

The 41-year-old beauty said: "I'm in a really happy, good place now, and when you have babies, you feel a different kind of love [compared] to anything you've experienced—deeper, more profound.

"No matter how much experience you have in love, you're always learning new things about it; you're always going to have questions you can never fully answer. I'm probably the happiest I've ever been in my life and my husband and my babies have everything to do with that."

British singer Amy Winehouse dead at 27 US HOLLYWOOD TOP ISSUE

  • British singer Amy Winehouse dead at 27

    Amy Winehouse has died.

The 27-year-old British singer—who had a history of drug addiction and heavy drinking—was found dead at her North London home this afternoon (July 23) at 3.54 p.m. from a suspected drink and drugs overdose according to police sources.

A police statement said: "On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene."

The sad news comes hours after a statement on Amy's official website claiming the singer—who was booed during a shambolic European comeback performance last month—was taking a break from performing in order to get help and "return to her best."

It said: "Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances. Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen."

Before her ill fated comeback Amy had spent one week in London's renowned rehab facility The Priory in order to get ready for the tour and planned to continue treatment as an outpatient.

She had reportedly stunned onlookers when she bought a small bottle of vodka from a shop in Southgate, north London, on her way rehab last month.

A source said: "She seemed out of it. She was stumbling about, slurring her words.

"I was shocked to see her buy vodka so early in the day, and even more shocked to see her knock it straight back."

  • Blake Lively

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio looked "very much in love" as they were spotted on a shopping spree in California.

The couple—who were first linked together at the Cannes Film Festival in France in May—put reports of a split behind them as they shopped for sunglasses in Santa Barbara on Wednesday (July 20).

A source told USMagazine.com: "They seemed very much in love. They were in the store for about 10 minutes before a crowd of fans noticed them and they rushed out."

This is the latest in a string of dates Leonardo, 35, has whisked the Gossip Girlbeauty away on.

Despite the fact the couple have refused to confirm their relationship, they have been seen together on a yacht in Disneyland, California, and on a water taxi in Venice, Italy.

Leonardo also treated the 23-year-old actress to a helicopter ride to Saint-Paul de Vence, France for a $500-lunch at La Colombe d'Or Restaurant, a stay at the $5,000-a-night suite at Hotel de Paris and a trip on a $52-million yacht. Friends have revealed the 'Inception' star is determined to please Blake.

A source recently said: "I've never seen him like this with a girl."

  • Jennifer Lopez reportedly wanted to divorce Marc Anthony since last year

Jennifer Lopez wanted to divorce Marc Anthony last year.

The "On the Floor" singer's marriage had been in trouble for some time before the couple announced they were splitting last Friday (July 15), with one friend saying Jennifer was ready to leave at Christmas last year.

The source told Star magazine: "Jen told him she wanted out of the marriage late last year, but he begged her to stay.

"She stayed, but she was miserable until finally she couldn't take it anymore."

It has also been reported the couple nearly split in 2009, over Marc's alleged affair with an airline stewardess.

Another source told Us Magazine: "Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay.

"They went to marriage counselling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved."

Marc's spending habits are also said to have caused problems for the pair—said to be worth $250 million—during their seven-year marriage, with him owing $3.4 million in taxes for last year.

Despite her marriage woes, Jennifer, 41, pulled out all the stops last night for a performance at a private wedding party in Ukraine—for which she reportedly received a $1 million fee.

The singer performed a string of hits for the son of Azam Aslamov, a Uzbek oil tycoon, and his guests at the $15million wedding.

As she took to the stage, she said: "Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today!"

Jennifer is expected to take primary custody of her children with Marc, three-year-old twins Max and Emme, with friends saying she is planning to throw herself into her work as an actress and singer.

  • Paris Hilton walks out of interview

Paris Hilton walked out of an interview after it was suggested her "moment" could have "passed."

The socialite stopped an interview with ABC News in the U.S. after being asked if poor ratings for her show The World According to Paris and the prominence of other reality TV stars could suggest her popularity is waning.

Anchor Dan Harris asked Paris: "Do you worry that sometimes the people who have followed in your footsteps—like Kim Kardashian—are overshadowing you?"

She replied: "No, not at all."

However, when the host pushed the star, asking: "Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?" She looked at her assistant then stopped the interview.

After regaining her composure, the 30-year-old consented to re-start the chat and explained how she is planning to move forward.

She said: "I've been in this business for fifteen years now, so it's been a very long time.

"Just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects."

Paris starred in her first reality TV show, The Simple Life in 2003, and has been in a number of series since, including three versions of Paris Hilton's My New BFF in the US, UK and UAE.

Kim, meanwhile, has starred in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which has aired since 2007 and is currently one of the most talked about stars in the US ahead of her marriage to Kris Humphries—which is also expected to be televised—later this summer.

Angelica Panganiban wins Best Actress in a comedy, beating out Ai-Ai delas Alas and Eugene Domingo

Sobra 'kong happy at nakakaloka. Iba pala ang feeling kapag present ka sa awards night. Kasi, 'yung mga nakaraan, wala ako. So, sobra akong happy talaga."

Aniya, "Yes, first time kong magpatawa. First time kong pinasok ang comedy and nanalo ako. Kaya sobra akong happy. Haping-haping-hapi."

When asked about her boyfriend Derek Ramsay na wala sa gabing 'yun bilang escort sana niya, ayon kay Angelica ay nasa Boracay ito for a Frisbee tournament.

"Never, never," ang mabilis niyang sagot.

So, siguro, naisip lang nila, bored siguro sila."

Joshua Dionisio describes success of love team with Barbie Forteza as "unexpected"

Joshua Dionisio describes success of love team with Barbie Forteza as "unexpected"

Just 16 years old, Joshua Dionisio has already experienced the glamour and glitz of show business, as well as its realities.

"Natutunan ko na kailangan mo talaga ng matinding patience. Marami kang kailangang tiisin talaga. Kasi iniisip ng tao na madaling mag-artista—aarte ka lang!

"Hindi siya ganun. Marami kang kailangang gawin para magkaroon ka ng pangalan dito," a serious Joshua told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a recent interview at Tempura Japanese Grill on Tomas Morato in Quezon City.

Joshua has come to realize that talent and good looks are not enough to be successful in the industry, you also need patience and humility.

"Kasi dati parang isnabero ako," the teen actor said, looking back.

"Hindi naman ako ganun pa kakilala tapos parang medyo snob pa ako. Hindi ako aware na nakakaapekto pala yun. So dito, nalaman ko na malaki ang epekto ng fans sa mga artista."

MAKING IT BIG. Joshua was 8 years old when he first came into the limelight. He appeared in TV commercials — the usual route taken by most of our celebrities today.

The young upstart then joined ABS-CBN and was seen in shows such as Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (2002), Panday (2005), Vietnam Rose (2005), Sa Piling Mo (2006),Super Inggo (2006), Maria Flordeluna (2007), Margarita (2007), Kung Fu Kids (2008),Palos (2008), and Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal (2010), among others.

Joshua's impressive performance in the "Sako" episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya won for him the Best Single Performance by an Actor trophy in the 20th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2008.

He also worked with TV5 in the programs, Batang X: The New Generation (2008) andMidnight DJ (2009).

Although he started out with ABS-CBN, Joshua was not widely identified as a talent of the network, and was even able to work with rival station, GMA-7, simultaneously for a short period of time.

Unknown to Joshua, the Kapuso network was keeping an eye on him following the success of his stint in the local adaptation of the hit Korean series, Stairway to Heaven, where he portrayed the role of a young Dingdong Dantes.

The said program, likewise, paved the way for Joshua's screen tandem with co-star Barbie Forteza.

To keep their momentum going, the pair was given lead roles in the GMA-7 2009 Yuletide special, Dear Friend: My Christmas List.

Joshua and Barbie, along with co-young star Jake Vargas, welcomed the following year with the coming-of-age teen drama series, First Time.

Pilyang Kerubin, Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts, and Nita Negrita came next, solidifying Joshua and Barbie's reputation as a bankable tandem ready for bigger projects.

Joshua admitted feeling "overwhelmed" with the success of his screen partnership with Barbie.

"Hindi namin ine-expect na aangat talaga. Pero ang isa pang unexpected na pangyayari is tatagal siya ng ganito," he said.

"Kasi akala namin parang boom! Bigla lang, tapos mamaya babagsak na rin. Yun lang ang ine-expect namin kaya kinakabahan kami after ng First Time.

"Kasi alam namin na maganda ang istorya, tsaka talagang patok na patok dati angFirst Time.

Azkals heartthrobs James Younghusband, Nate Burkey, and Neil Etheridge talk about football and lovelife status!

Azkals heartthrobs James Younghusband, Nate Burkey, and Neil Etheridge talk about football and lovelife status!

Thanks to team Azkals—which was coined from the word "askal," a Tagalog contraction of the canine mixed breed asong kalye.

Phil Younghusband is perhaps the most popular of them all. Aside from being linked with actress Angel Locsin, he was already visible in showbiz before they met.

His older brother James also tried his hand at modeling, but he seems to be camera-shy.

In an interview held prior to their big win against Sri Lanka, James admitted, "I guess you can say I'm more conservative."

But he added that off-camera, he's not reserved at all, "especially when I'm with people I'm comfortable with," he smiled.

His aggressive self becomes evident whenever he's playing.

"Just focus on the goal. You forget about everything," the 24-year-old football star said.

He encourages Pinoys to play football for the sport.

"I think the Filipinos can develop the sport. I'm just happy that football has become really popular," James told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

And how does he find the attention he and his teammates have been getting from the girls?

"It's very flattering," the right-winger Azkal answered. "It gives me the extra motivation to be good at football."

But sorry, ladies, his "ideal girl," is "a girl named Fiona Faulkner," an 18-year-old Filipino-British who also "loves football."

And before we could ask another question, he cut in, "She's my girlfriend."

NATE BURKEY. Another looker in the group is Nate, a Filipino-American striker.

He's been with the team for only a few months, but the football fans already know him as the guy who made the "first goal in a World Cup qualifier in 10 years."

The 26-year-old football player seemed unaffected by the feat.

"I just did what my coach told me," he said.

He was a bit surprised though by their celebrity status.

"It was difficult...surprising," he remarked, carefully choosing his words. "But I will always stay humble and keep my feet on the ground. Knowing what's important is important."
