  • British singer Amy Winehouse dead at 27

    Amy Winehouse has died.

The 27-year-old British singer—who had a history of drug addiction and heavy drinking—was found dead at her North London home this afternoon (July 23) at 3.54 p.m. from a suspected drink and drugs overdose according to police sources.

A police statement said: "On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene."

The sad news comes hours after a statement on Amy's official website claiming the singer—who was booed during a shambolic European comeback performance last month—was taking a break from performing in order to get help and "return to her best."

It said: "Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances. Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen."

Before her ill fated comeback Amy had spent one week in London's renowned rehab facility The Priory in order to get ready for the tour and planned to continue treatment as an outpatient.

She had reportedly stunned onlookers when she bought a small bottle of vodka from a shop in Southgate, north London, on her way rehab last month.

A source said: "She seemed out of it. She was stumbling about, slurring her words.

"I was shocked to see her buy vodka so early in the day, and even more shocked to see her knock it straight back."

  • Blake Lively

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio looked "very much in love" as they were spotted on a shopping spree in California.

The couple—who were first linked together at the Cannes Film Festival in France in May—put reports of a split behind them as they shopped for sunglasses in Santa Barbara on Wednesday (July 20).

A source told USMagazine.com: "They seemed very much in love. They were in the store for about 10 minutes before a crowd of fans noticed them and they rushed out."

This is the latest in a string of dates Leonardo, 35, has whisked the Gossip Girlbeauty away on.

Despite the fact the couple have refused to confirm their relationship, they have been seen together on a yacht in Disneyland, California, and on a water taxi in Venice, Italy.

Leonardo also treated the 23-year-old actress to a helicopter ride to Saint-Paul de Vence, France for a $500-lunch at La Colombe d'Or Restaurant, a stay at the $5,000-a-night suite at Hotel de Paris and a trip on a $52-million yacht. Friends have revealed the 'Inception' star is determined to please Blake.

A source recently said: "I've never seen him like this with a girl."

  • Jennifer Lopez reportedly wanted to divorce Marc Anthony since last year

Jennifer Lopez wanted to divorce Marc Anthony last year.

The "On the Floor" singer's marriage had been in trouble for some time before the couple announced they were splitting last Friday (July 15), with one friend saying Jennifer was ready to leave at Christmas last year.

The source told Star magazine: "Jen told him she wanted out of the marriage late last year, but he begged her to stay.

"She stayed, but she was miserable until finally she couldn't take it anymore."

It has also been reported the couple nearly split in 2009, over Marc's alleged affair with an airline stewardess.

Another source told Us Magazine: "Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay.

"They went to marriage counselling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved."

Marc's spending habits are also said to have caused problems for the pair—said to be worth $250 million—during their seven-year marriage, with him owing $3.4 million in taxes for last year.

Despite her marriage woes, Jennifer, 41, pulled out all the stops last night for a performance at a private wedding party in Ukraine—for which she reportedly received a $1 million fee.

The singer performed a string of hits for the son of Azam Aslamov, a Uzbek oil tycoon, and his guests at the $15million wedding.

As she took to the stage, she said: "Are you happy? I am happy, because I am here with you today!"

Jennifer is expected to take primary custody of her children with Marc, three-year-old twins Max and Emme, with friends saying she is planning to throw herself into her work as an actress and singer.

  • Paris Hilton walks out of interview

Paris Hilton walked out of an interview after it was suggested her "moment" could have "passed."

The socialite stopped an interview with ABC News in the U.S. after being asked if poor ratings for her show The World According to Paris and the prominence of other reality TV stars could suggest her popularity is waning.

Anchor Dan Harris asked Paris: "Do you worry that sometimes the people who have followed in your footsteps—like Kim Kardashian—are overshadowing you?"

She replied: "No, not at all."

However, when the host pushed the star, asking: "Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?" She looked at her assistant then stopped the interview.

After regaining her composure, the 30-year-old consented to re-start the chat and explained how she is planning to move forward.

She said: "I've been in this business for fifteen years now, so it's been a very long time.

"Just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects."

Paris starred in her first reality TV show, The Simple Life in 2003, and has been in a number of series since, including three versions of Paris Hilton's My New BFF in the US, UK and UAE.

Kim, meanwhile, has starred in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which has aired since 2007 and is currently one of the most talked about stars in the US ahead of her marriage to Kris Humphries—which is also expected to be televised—later this summer.
